WHAT IS KEYWORD
Keywords are those specific words which are searched in a search engine. When you search any information on the web in any order, you open a search engine and write some keyword describing what you are looking for. At the other end, the search engine checks your desired keyword related information in its database and shows the results listing pages according to the words submitted. These words that are used to search anything called keywords or search terms. If you have used some search terms, you will know that even a single keyword shows a broad list of required information.

KEYWORD DENSITY
Keyword density is the percentage of times a keyword or phrase appears on a web page compared to the total number of words on the page. In the context of search engine optimization keyword density can be used as a factor in determining whether a web page is relevant to a specified keyword or keyword phrase.

Just because you have the right amount of keyword density in your SEO campaign, it means that the higher you will automatically align. The new Google algorithm favors really related terms to search only the keyword density.

There's percentage of "perfect" in the keyword density in SEO, but strives to keep our Volacci density at or below 5 percent. The percentage of a page is relative to its length happy, so it is recommended that you know the formula for calculating each page. The formula for the keyword density is quite simple.

1. Count how many words you have on your page.

2. Count how many times you have used your keyword.

3. Apply this formula.

Keyword density = ([key word count]) * 100 / (total word count)

KEYWORD STUFFING
Keyword stuffing is known as an unethical search engine optimization technique that involves adding an excessive amount of keywords into the HTML or tags of a webpage to bring more traffic to a website. While considered obsolete and outdated, there are still websites that attempt to use this technique and end up being blacklisted or banned from search engines.

KEYWORD PROXIMITY
Keyword proximity refers to closeness of keywords. Your keywords should be close to each other in content of web page. Many people don't know about keywords. They generally treats key phrases as a keyword. Usually we do not target keyword.

For example: This post is related to "Keyword Proximity". The word "Keyword Proximity" is not a key word. It is a key phrase. Here "Keyword" is a one keyword and "Proximity" is another keyword.

To make proximity higher you should use both keywords in you content.

Example of "Keyword Proximity": Keeping your keywords close to each other helps to increase proximity. Here you can see that I am using keyword (Actually key phrase) "Keyword Proximity" in isolated form. Distance between "Keyword" and "Proximity" should be less to make proximity higher. Using your keywords again and again in content is not a good practice. It is called "Keyword Stuffing". That's why we should use main keyword in its original form and in isolated form too.

KEYWORD PROMINENCE
Keyword prominence refers to how prominent keywords are within a web page.

The general recommendation is to place important keywords at, or near, the start of a web page, sentence, TITLE or META tag.
